Javier
The mission of San Javier is situated in La Sierra de
la Giganta, about a 36 km drive. The first stop is a fine example of
desert flora and fauna. From here we drive to "Cuevas Pintas" to
appreciate the few cave paintings still in existance. Next, we go to a Las
Parras farm to see some unique agricultural methods. Lastly, we visit San
Javier Mission, the best preserved of the nearly twenty in the Baja. Lunch
consisting of ranch cooking is provided.

Tabor Canyon
A difficult trek along a canyon trail filled with
occasional water hazards. All hikers MUST be physically fit. Two
naturalist will lead the group. We will hike, crawl (yes, crawl!) and rock
climb. Bottled water, fruit, vegetables and snacks are included. Maximum
